INN’S ARTWORK SHOWCASE AT KINOKUNIYA BOOK STORES, SURIA KLCC
Tham Siew Inn Artist Gallery, together with Kinokuniya Book Stores,
brings you “Lines & Colours” --- a display of various artworks
featured in Siew Inn’s latest art book. A full colour, 11” x 12”,
200 pages coffee table book that collects the best from over 40 of
his sketchbooks since 1990. It also includes Chinese and English
captions to every artwork, providing insight to his pictorial
interpretation of his subjects.
Malaysia’s renowned artist Tham Siew Inn is a true original that
captures impression, impulse with his prolific and diligent creative
brush strokes. His lines are vibrant, yet light without a harsh
geometry. His colours are grand and panoramic, where whole scenery
comes alive with breath taking gusto. His artworks pursue harmony,
Balance, and beauty; even though there are also tensions and
contrasts within.
Limited signed copies of Siew Inn’s 3rd art book “Lines &
Colours: Select Artwork by Tham Siew Inn” will be available for
purchase at RM150. Showcase will be held from 1st to 31st
of May, 2010 at Kinokuniya Book Stores. It opens from 10am to 10pm.
