In the new
millennium, after his experiments with various types of
medium, Siew Inn created a series of beautiful yet simple
artworks. Emphasizing on the free spirited lines gliding on
the watercolor paper, he acquired these unique strokes from
his smaller sketches and incorporate them into full size
watercolor paintings.
嘗試了各種媒介之后，譚氏創作了一系列美不勝收的速寫作品。簡約的線條，優雅的在滑面的紙張上躍動，構成生動的畫面。這一種用線條來表現空間感的創作形式，是非常獨特的。他也將在速寫中研發的這一技法，融入他這一時期的畫作中，創造出風格獨特的一系列作品。
